Whittlebury Park Golf Course offers superb facilities for keen golfers of any ability. The Atrium Clubhouse has won awards for clubhouse of the year and boasts the status of largest clubhouse in Europe. The Heritage of the park dates back over 1000 years. The history of the land is apparent and kept alive by the continuous efforts of conservation work. Although keeping the history of the grounds alive is a priority, taking pride in portraying a modern club with traditional values is evident to the returning customers.
The Golf course itself is amongst the original lakes and old oak trees that once were part of the Whittlewood forest. The land is perfect for Golfing and it is no wonder that it is home to one of the UK’S Championship courses. The courses benefit from 4 loops of 9 holes, each of them have a unique character and are STRI & USGA accredited greens. They are playable in any combination, which means you never have to play the same round of golf twice!
The four golf Courses
Royal Whittlewood Course
This course plays around the remaining copses of the ancient Royal Whittlewood Forest, home to an abundance of flora and fauna, which made the forest a favourite hunting ground of Medieval Kings.
Grand Prix Course
This course plays over the gently undulating grassland adjacent to the world famous Silverstone motor racing circuit. With its interesting lake features and wildlife sanctuaries it provides many testing holes.
1905 Course
Originally built on the Whittlebury estate in 1905 as a private course, today golfers enjoy playing between the magnificent lakes and natural oaks in the parkland.
Wedgewood Course
The Wedgewood has both testing par 3’s and par 4’s of a high standard of design and construction, maintained to the same level of excellence as the other three courses on the estate. This makes it ideal for bringing on and improving the “shot making skills” of the novice, yet offering an interesting challenge to experienced players.
